BIOGRAPHY

I am a support scientist (plant physiology) providing capabilities for genetic analysis of populations in both invasive weeds and biocontrol agents. My background includes a B.A. in chemistry and biology from Temple University, an M.S. in botany-zoology (specializing in limnology) from the Univ. of Wisconsin- Milwaukee, several years of warm-water fish culture in the Peace Corps, experience as an analytical chemist for the Univ. of Florida and research on aquatic invasive plants as a USDA technician. My molecular tutelage came under Dr. Raymond Schnell at the Subtropical Horticulture Research Station in Miami.
